Great electronic rice ooker works just fine relatively small capacity

My latest “kick” is rice cookers. I love “bowl food” and I learned I can cook one pot, delicious, interesting, and even healthy meals using rice cookers. You can pay lots more for a fuzzy logic rice cooker but this little baby works perfectly. I’m also making steel cut oats Porridge in it so it isn’t just for rice. The very tasty Rice Select (Texmati varieties) come out perfectly in it too. Fuzzy Logic to me means it’s basically very hard to make a bad meal. Only negative I can see is this rice cooker is a 5.5 cup capacity. If you have a large large family you might need one with a higher capacity but this one makes lots of rice. I also bought an 8-cup On/Off/Warm Aroma ricer maker from Amazon and am very happy with that brand too. There’s a Cajun rice cook book on Amazon whose recipes work best in the On/Off/Warm rice cooker.Wow, so hard to pick a rice cooker; so many options and so many good reviews. Picked this one I’m not sure why, and it’s been really good, the rice comes out wonderfully. Big difference compared to steaming in a saucepan, in case you’re wondering if you should buy a rice cooker at all. White rice does take a full 45 minutes to cook, which is longer than steaming it, but still worth it. Note their “cup” measure is only about 3/4 of the standard USA 8 oz. cup. Brown rice capacity is just a little over 2 cups (raw). Only drawback is Panasonic SR-DE102 Rice Cookerhas an aluminum cooking pan, but it’s hard to find one that does not.

I obtain two of these position of home and i adore them. The picture is not the greatest, but Panasonic BL-C131A is righteousness enough. You can still read a car’s permission plate or recognize a person’s expression from the images. What i like about them is how effortless they are to monitor and direction remotely, how they email images when they detect motion, and how affordable they are. The cameras are very reliable. I obtain had one for almost a year and it has never stopped working or lost joint or anything like that.

I obtain them dual inside, facing the outside during a glass window, one facing the front yard and the other one facing the back yard. I use a mini “spider” tripot to hang them on the window. I obtain the sound turned do the frank on dual. I obtain the motion detection turn on. They transmit me emails with images when they detect motion. I obtain an email account created exclusively for this. They do not obtain night vision, but that is not a problem for me since i also obtain motion lights in the front and back of the house. The images and video are recorded on the memory interior the camera, and it can be overwritten when the camera runs out of memory space, but i obtain the images emailed to me so i still reach those images that reach overwritten in the camera.

Each camera comes with a web based software that allows you to monitor and direction the camera. Panasonic offers a free assistance that allows me to monitor multiple cameras position of the identical time remotely, using internet explorer. The initial thing i do when i reach to work is log on to this assistance so that i can monitor my home front and back from work. Each camera is password protected. So nobody can enter your cameras calm if they know the url, unless they also know the user id and password.

The only problem i see with this camera is that the software uses activex controls. So the software works only with internet explorer and i don’t think it will work with other web browsers such as firefox. This is not a problem for me since i don’t mind using ie, but i can see where this might bother other people. Other than this, i highly recommend this camera.

The Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Disc Player is one excellent dvd player. It raises theo- bar on blu ray players so other manufactures will have over surpass in order over be able over compete on quality and price. What led me over buy the player over other players was theo- ethernet capability, usb haven & sd card slots, viera cast and 1080p up-conversion. Some of these features are available in other players however over my knowledge not all are available in one single player since is theo- case with bd60k. The viera cast presently lets one access you tube videos and picasa web albums. Panasonic has announced so amazon vod (video on demand) will soon be available on viera cast. In my undergo both theo- picasa web albums and theo- you tube videos worked very well. The pictures on picasa website are very crisp and in high resolution (but accompanied every time by theo- same background music so gets annoying over listen over over and over again). You tube videos look okay (but grainy in spite of expanded over cover theo- screen). One composed feature is theo- ability over continually present videos through your search one after theo- other. The amazon vod is not available yet so i can’t commentary on it, however i am eagerly expecting its launch through viera cast.

I upgraded theo- player over 1.5 version of firmware using theo- ethernet haven and i had absolutely no problems after upgrading theo- firmware. I am using theo- panasonic blu ray player with theo- onkyo 805 receiver and a 1080p overhead mitsubishi lcd projector (hc4900) on a carada precision series 106″ projection screen and theo- blu ray picture quality (pq) is absolutely stunning. The pq for standard definition dvd is bearable on a projection screen and not theo- same quality since theo- blu ray dvd. I also played the dvd player through a 42″ panasonic plasma tv (720p) and theo- pq for standard definition dvd or blu ray dvd is outstanding. There can be no guarantee for technological obsolescence in today’s fast changing world however theo- panasonic bdp-bd60k holds promise.
